History

The Vermont Children’s Theater is the outgrowth of a program that began in Peacham almost 30 years ago with the presentation of a variety show by a group of local children under the direction of Nancy Hartswick in the dining room of Peacham Church. In 1990, a large barn on the property of the Wildflower Inn was made available to VCT. The barn was converted into a 200-seat theater that still serves as the home of VCT.
